闫明明,男,汉族,内蒙古包头市人。现为中国书画家协会会员、中国翰林书画院院士、香港书法家协会会员、北京诗砚书画中心会员、北京中艺星光文化艺术中心会员、三典轩书画网、中国藏艺网、中名联国际签约艺术家。他从小成长在中国书法城——内蒙古乌海市,在墨玉飘香的环境中,受到了书法艺术的熏陶,从此喜欢上了书法艺术。他在日后的书法学习过程中,先后临摹学习过汉隶《石门颂》、《张迁碑》等碑帖以及小草孙过庭《书谱》、王羲之《十七帖》等碑帖,初步掌握了各碑帖的临习方法以及创作技巧,在日后的研习创作过程中,作品多次在盟市报、企业报刊载。在2023年北京第二届“诗砚杯”全国网络书画大赛活动中荣获三等奖,在2024年北京“美育中国文体嘉年华”书画大赛活动中荣获金奖,在2024年全国“翰墨中华情”书画作品展评大赛活动中荣获金奖,2024年被授予“中国艺术功勋人物”、“国礼艺术家”、“中国—约旦文化交流使者”荣誉称号。

Yan Mingming, is a Han Chinese from Baotou, Inner Mongolia. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, an academician at the China Hanlin Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, a member of the Hong Kong Calligraphers Association, a member of the Beijing Shiyan Calligraphy and Painting Center, a member of the Beijing Zhongyi Xingguang Culture and Art Center, and a contracted artist with San Dian Xuan Calligraphy and Painting Network, China Collection Network, and the China Famous Artists Alliance International.

Growing up in Wuhai, Inner Mongolia, known as the "City of Calligraphy," he was deeply influenced by the rich culture of calligraphy in this environment, which sparked his lifelong passion for the art. During his studies, he practiced and studied inscriptions from the Han dynasty such as the Shimen Song and Zhang Qian Stele, as well as classical cursive scripts like Calligraphy Manual by Sun Guoting and Seventeen Posts by Wang Xizhi. Through these studies, he mastered various techniques of calligraphy copying and creation.

His works have been published in local and corporate newspapers many times. In 2023, he won third prize in the second Beijing Shiyan Cup National Online Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In 2024, he won the gold prize in the Beijing "Aesthetic Education China Culture and Sports Carnival" Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and also won the gold prize in the 2024 National "Ink and Brush Affection for China" Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and Competition. In 2024, he was awarded the honorary titles of Artistic Achievement Figure of China, National Gift Artist, and Cultural Ambassador for China-Jordan Exchange.
